I know from personal experience how difficult it can be to achieve the health you want and maintain it. Whether it’s healing your digestion, struggling with weight loss, losing control of cravings, or feeling more energetic, I’ve worked through it all.
My interest in nutrition came with my personal struggle of choosing a healthy lifestyle/losing weight while also pursuing my joy of cooking. I was never content with my body and always thought I needed to lose weight. Already a very active person, in an attempt to lose the stubborn weight, I would bounce back and forth from eating super healthy (from dieting to detoxing) to indulging in decadent meals. Eating healthy became stressful and discouraging because of all the restrictions I placed on food. As I began to experiment in the kitchen and explore more about nutrition, I realized I was approaching my health all wrong.
Healthy and beneficial ingredients can satisfy all your cravings and indulgences. I learned to stop following food restrictions and instead focus on cooking with nutritional whole foods, highlighting the fullness of their flavors. The benefits I have seen and feel in myself have been life changing for both my physical and mental health.
